HPE Hiring Team,

I am a systems and software engineer based in Loveland, and my best work has always been at the point where infrastructure, software, support, and the people operating the system all have to work together. Over more than 15 years, I have led production environments, owned the hardest escalations, worked directly with auditors and customers, and built software and operating practices that make complicated systems easier to run and trust.

At Front Range Internet, I was the Senior Systems Engineer and Datacenter Architect for a 30,000-square-foot commercial datacenter in Fort Collins. I led the NOC, served as the primary on-call engineer for severe escalations, and owned technical readiness for annual SOC 1 and SOC 2 audits under SSAE 18. I worked directly with auditors to prove access and failover controls, verify backups and disaster recovery, document operating procedures, close gaps, and make sure the evidence matched the systems we actually ran. We passed every year. I also led migrations, capacity planning, incident recovery, monitoring modernization, and cloud and container work across customer environments.

Earlier at IBM, I was an infrastructure and systems focal for shared enterprise environments supporting major clients and millions of users. The work crossed incidents, virtualization, hosted desktops, backups, compliance controls, production change, and the coordination required to keep large technical organizations moving during real problems.

When fiber reached Wray, Colorado, I moved there and spent three years helping a rural community put it to work. For Excell Services, I became the complete IT function for roughly 30 employees: rebuilding servers, negotiating and connecting fiber, establishing multi-site backup and recovery, improving wireless links, and modernizing the business without breaking daily operations. I also helped local businesses and residents rebuild computers, connect new services, and adopt practical technology they could depend on.

Since 2021, Technomancy has expanded the software side of the same career. Through long-term clients, referrals, and a Top Rated, top-10% Upwork practice, I usually work as the only engineer or technical lead from discovery through launch, support, and recovery. I build React and TypeScript products, Python and Rust services, cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, security controls, financial and operational workflows, and AI-assisted tools using retrieval, structured outputs, agents, evaluation, and explicit human review. The software is there to support the technical side of the client: operations, customer support, launches, data, recovery, and decisions made under pressure.

What I would bring to HPE is broad technical range backed by real operational responsibility. I can move from an infrastructure problem to code, from an incident to root cause, from an audit question to defensible evidence, and from a dense technical workflow to an interface people can actually use. Just as important, I communicate plainly, stay calm when the system is not, and remain responsible after launch.

I am local to Loveland, know the Fort Collins technical community, and would be glad to bring that mix of enterprise operations, modern software, customer-facing judgment, and practical leadership to HPE. Thank you for taking a serious look at my background.
